Format for Posters and Oral Presentations

CONTRIBUTED ORAL PRESENTATIONS

Please review the final program to confirm/verify the date and time allocated to it. The final program will available about two weeks before the conference.

The format of the oral presentations will be a 15 minute talk plus 5 minutes for discussions. We ask you to bring your presentation to our media-experts, who will be in the podium area of the lecture halls from 7:30am to 8:30am on the day of your presentation. Please use Microsoft PowerPoint or Adobe Acrobat as the file format.

POSTER PRESENTATIONS

The maximum poster format will be 100 cm (width) by 110 cm (length). Please set up your poster on the Conference opening day (August 6) between 5:30pm to 7:00pm. The opening night reception will provide an opportunity for participants to have the first look at the posters. Posters will remain in the viewing area for the duration of the Conference. Please take your poster down after the closing of the conference.

TWO-MINUTE TALKS (students only)

Plan on a two-minute oral presentation (no slides). The purpose of this presentation is to introduce the audience to the subject of your research; no results required! For excellent examples, see http://www.phdcomics.com/tv/2.minute.thesis.php
